I Want A Positive Image

We were asked to share and discuss an event or issue that happened in recent history that shows how "agenda-setting" and analyze the process of selection, inclusion and exclusion of information in the formation of the "news item" or "image.

There are some events in my life which "agenda-setting" happened. Whether in at school and on the internet.

School. When I was in High School, I was a leader in some paper works . There are two certain papers that are my favorites. One is for Social Studies class and another for English class. So for both of them, I was the leader and my primary concern is to divide the labor to my members.  I asked them to do written reports for their assignments. I have this thinking in my mind that since I'm the leader, I still need to research more about their assignments. I collected their reports and I revised a lot of it because I want a good grade for our group.

On the Internet. I'm fond of updating people of what's happening to me via Twitter. I like bringing cameras to events and uploading it online. I love writing about my life and works via blogs. One thing about them is that I select what to tweet, upload and publish. When I tweet, I only tweet positive happenings in my life and there is this selective tweets wherein when you put #fb at the end of your tweet, it would appear on your profile on Facebook. I just put #fb on tweets that is for me essential to post. I only put it when I greet everyone and when I'm really happy of what's happening. On uploading photos, even though many people are asking me to take photos of them during an event (exception if it is really a need), I just save all photos on my computer and upload good photos only (ex. a photo with good resolution). When blogging, at first I just write thoroughly and read it, when I see something wrong or negative about my work, I revise it. I also blog only things that are positive and tries to help other people.

If you notice, I always use the word POSITIVE because according to my understanding of "agenda-setting theory", you revise, select, and include information for betterment of image to others.
